The Artefakt ↗

Because a person made it

Storytelling you can trust

Artefakt Preserve is a vetted archive of human-made work, with verifiable provenance on every frame. Real people, real moments — protected, published, and sustained.

Why this exists

When anything can be generated, proof of the real becomes everything.

The feed is filling with synthetic images and unattributed work. Authorship blurs, context disappears, and the people who actually make the pictures lose control of them. Artefakt is built the other way: every contributor is verified, every image carries its provenance, and the work stays connected to its maker.

The tools, built in

The tools you rent everywhere else, built into one place.

Video conferencing built in — meet a client one-on-one, run a live classroom, or present to a room of up to five hundred. No separate Zoom account needed.

Invisible watermarking, scrape protection, and a permanent Arweave record that outlives any platform.

Video Showcase

Cancel Vimeo — showcase, publish, and deliver film at full resolution, with no file-size limit, on your own player and domain.

AI captioning & keywording

Captions, dates, places, and keywords written for you — your archive falls into order on its own.

How it works

We don’t ask you to take our word for it. Every image carries its own proof.

01 · A person makes it

Photography and film made by human beings, in the real world.

02 · The author is reviewed

Every contributor is personally reviewed and invited — a real, accountable person.

03 · The work comes home

The work enters the archive with its metadata: who, where, when — kept with the frame.

04 · A permanent record

C2PA credentials signed into the file, and a record on Arweave that no one can alter or delete.

05 · Anyone can check

Every image links to its provenance certificate. Open it and verify it yourself — no account needed.

A network built for the people who make the real thing.

Real photographs and real films, made by people who were there. Bring your work home, or explore the archive.
