By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as necessary to operate the Site:
- Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Data is stored on Supabase-managed servers.
- Stripe — payment processing. Your payment card details go directly to Stripe. We receive only a transaction confirmation and your email address.
- Cloudflare — file storage (R2) and video streaming. Licensed files and uploaded images are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure.
- Vercel — web hosting and serverless functions. All web traffic passes through Vercel's infrastructure.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- WHCC (White House Custom Colour) — print fulfilment. Your name, shipping address, and order details are passed to WHCC to produce and ship your print.
- Legal disclosure: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
DATA RETENTION
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. License records and purchase history are retained for a minimum of seven years for accounting and legal purposes. Newsletter subscribers are retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at jon@artefakt.foundation.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you are located, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Take your work with you: Download your original, full-resolution files at any time, or have us transfer your entire archive to cloud storage you own. You are never locked in.
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send.
- California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information).
You can exercise most of these rights yourself, right now, from your Privacy & Data settings: see exactly which policy versions you accepted, turn each use of your data on or off, download a copy of your data, download your original files (or request a transfer of your full archive to storage you own), and request account deletion. When an account is deleted we permanently remove your original files and derivatives from our storage; any provenance records written to a public ledger (Arweave) are immutable and cannot be removed. For anything else, contact us at jon@artefakt.foundation; we respond within 30 days.
SECURITY
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, encrypted database connections, and access controls to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
